Love the main building, breakfast was good, grounds are beautiful, walkable to Lexington for great restaurants and atmosphere. We stay here whenever we travel I-81 on road trips.
Beautiful location. Staff great. Breakfast was OK, pretty standard breakfast. The room was really nice, very comfortable.
This is not a typical chain hotel! When you drive up the circular drive to the office in a building on the Register of Historic Places, with a spectacular view of mountains in the distance. Wow

The property, which includes the building and also the expansive property, were very impressive. Many large magnificent trees. Old log cabin on property. The details of the old part of the hotel building (dining room, main entrance, sitting room, etc.,) were from times past and awesome. Also very clean and well-kept. Great location too. I would stay here again.
Hotel was easy to find and has a lot of amenities close by. Room was comfortable.
The location was perfect! The property and the grounds were great and I will definitely stay there again next time I am in town. Plenty of parking. Quiet area. Very close to the historic downtown area. Beautiful main building. Hopefully I will get the chance to use the pool and hot tub when I go again.
